PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS
Oral Presentations
Please bring your presentation on a USB key to the technical assistant in the conference room 30 min before your session (at least 2 hours before your talk). Please see a member of the technical team (orange badges) to transfer your files and check for any eventual compatibility problems.
For confidential purpose, on request, presentation files will be deleted at the end of each session.
  • Presentation format
  • The computers will be running the Windows XP operating system with Office 2003 installed. Presentation formats accepted are:
    - Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2003
    - PDF 1.4
    - OpenOffice Presentation ODP (.odp)

  • Length of contributed and invited oral presentations
  • Contributed oral presentations are 20 minutes long. Please design your presentation to take 15-17 minutes, leaving 3 to 5 minutes for discussion. Keynote lectures are 30 minutes, including time for discussion.

    Poster Presentations
  • Poster Format
  • - Poster boards are 84,1 cm wide (33,11 in) x 118,9 cm high (46,81 in) corresponding to A0 format.
    - Fixing materials for poster boards will be provided on site.

  • Location and Timing of Posters
  • 3 posters sessions will be be displayed throughout the Symposium. All posters on TUESDAY evening (Pre-dinner drinks will be served at the same time), ODD posters (1, 3, 5…) on WEDNESDAY morning, and EVEN posters (2, 4, 6…) on WEDNESDAY afternoon.

    Instruction for poster locations will be available on site.

  • Poster Award
  • The best poster presentation will be awarded by ISE Division 3 officials during Tuesday evening poster session. Poster award prize is 200€.

    Internet Access

    For those with wireless enabled laptops, there is free wireless LAN access at IMN for ISEE'Cap09 symposium but not for Tutorials. Access protocol & WEP key will be available on site.

    On-Site Registration, Receipts

    - On-site registration is possible by prior arrangement, with payment in cash or credit card.

    - For receipts of payment or any other financial matter please see a member of the technical team (orange badges).

    - Participants requiring a certificate of attendance should contact a member of the technical team (orange badges).

    Special Dietary Requirements

    Some conference participants have indicated they have special dietary requirements. Please make yourself known to the restaurant staff and indicate what type of meal/diet you have arranged.

    Conference Gala Dinner

    The conference dinner on WEDNESDAY evening is a Cruise Dinner (boarding at 19H30) taking place about 2 km from the Symposium location and easily reached by tramway line 2 (map access available on site).
