    Polytech’Nantes, "La Chantrerie" - IHT building

    The Monday 29 afternoon tutorial will take place at Polytech’Nantes, "La Chantrerie". (Location on a map).
    A special shuttle bus will leave "Recteur Schmidt" tramway station (line 2) at 1:10 pm on MONDAY 29th. It will join "Beaujoire" tramway station (terminus line 1) at 1:20 pm to pick up the participants who want to join the tutorial place (Polytech Nantes - IHT building, beside "école du bois" and in front of the university restaurant).
    Regular buses from "Recteur Schmidt" station are still available (see map above...).
    If you take a taxi, the adress is "rue Christian Pauc, La Chantrerie, Nantes". Please tell the driver that the IHT building of Polytech Nantes is beside "école du bois" and in front of the university restaurant (there are 3 buildings for Polytech).
    Please note that the tutorials will begin at 2:00 pm.
    - Symposium ISEE'Cap09 (Tuesday 30 june - Thursday 02 July 2009)
    Université de Nantes - Institut des Matériaux Jean Rouxel (IMN)

    The symposium will take place at Institut des Matériaux Jean Rouxel (IMN), 2 rue de la Houssinière which is located at Faculty of Sciences, University of Nantes (see location 31 on the map). The place can be easily access in 10 minutes by tramway (line 2, Michelet-Sciences station) from Downtown Nantes (Place du Commerce).

  • - By plane
    Nantes is located on the west coast of France close to Brittany. The city can be accessed very easily by plane (from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport) within 1 hour and from a lot of European cities. Direct flights to Nantes are also available from Montreal (Canada) during the summer period. Downtown Nantes can be reached within 20 minutes by shuttle bus (TAN air) or taxis.

    - By train
    High speed train (TGV) is available from Paris (2 hours), Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (3 hours), Lille (4 hours), Lyon (4 hours and a half), and Marseille (6 hours and a half).

    Note that Nantes train station has 2 exits - North (access to the tram & city centre) and South (access to the Cité Internationale des Congrès).
    Train station is located downtown Nantes and most of the city hotels can be reached by tramway or buses (check www.tan.fr).
    - By car
    Nantes can be access by car from A11 (Paris) and A83 (Bordeaux) motorways.
